As a Software Quality Engineer you will be responsible for the creation, and maintenance of an automated test framework for our mobile titles. Coordinating your efforts with key stakeholders; the QA Manager, Product Owner, and Technical Director, you will write thorough test plans and test cases; design, develop, and maintain automation test tools; and execute test plans/suites that isolate and debug functional, performance, load and/or scalability problems.
Creation and maintenance of a test automation framework for multiple mobile game projects.
Communicate test results, as well as any errors or issues discovered during testing, to QA, Development and Management teams.
Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases and implement effective methods to automate functional, integration, regression, performance, and stress testing.
Create, maintain, perform, and upgrade test scripts as well as analyse test cases and provides regular progress reports.
Ability to handle multiple projects with changing priorities and meet concurrent deadlines
Creation of in-game debug commands to assist QA in testing.
Creation and maintenance of test tools and other testing solutions.
Memory budgeting and reporting.
Maintain and upgrade the build server, and provide regular builds to the test team.
Monitor build stability.
Build, maintain and administer a controlled test environment.
Desired Skills and Experience:
2 years’ experience with C#, C++ or Java.
Experience with Continuous Integration and build automation tools such as Jenkins.
Knowledge of source control systems, such as SVN, Git, Perforce, or Mercurial.
Experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium or Calabash.
Experience working in an Agile environment on products across multiple platforms, with both client and server components.
Experience with an established company is great but we’d also be interested to hear from you if you’ve got a proven track record outside of the corporate world.
