Hutch is looking for an outgoing and energetic Community Manager for a brand new concept in multiplayer mobile racing games. You’ll engage and build our community, generate ideas for community enhancing features both in-game and on social media and be the bond between the game team and players.
Run and develop the player community for our new racing title.
Create a communication strategy geared to the target demographic.
Proactively seek dialogue with our players, inform, listen, prepare the community’s feedback and deliver input to the rest of the game team.
Take responsibility for communication via all community-channels (boards, Social Media, blogs) and keep players up to date.
Create and run a forum, recruiting and training forum moderators from the game’s community to ensure it’s a friendly, collaborative place.
Work closely with the rest of the team to help develop new game features that are designed around the community’s preferences and play-patterns.
Take care of the entertainment of your community (live-streaming, events, contests, surveys, etc).
Your Skills & Experience:
A love for cars and racing!
A knowledge of what our competitors (i.e. the top 5 mobile racing games) are up to from a community point of view AND the desire to take things to the next level.
Advanced knowledge of Social Media platforms and tools (inc. services such as twitch.tv), as well as good skills in creating social media content.
An understanding of statistics and the most key-KPIs relevant for community management and social media.
A diplomatic manner, able to share and gather information in an energetic and inclusive manner, while dealing effectively with difficult situations and people remaining polite and professional at all times, as befits the public face of the game.
Experience with an established company is great but we’d also be interested to hear from you if you’ve got a proven track record outside of the corporate world.
We have a permanent position available but we’re equally willing to discuss contract positions.
Hutch is based in Shoreditch, London. (Nearest tube stations are Old Street and Liverpool Street) However, due to the nature of this role we are open to discuss remote working.
