HUTCH ADDS WHOPPING 50% MORE MISSIONS TO iOS HIT SMASH COPS

New studio Hutch is releasing a whopping 50% increase in mission content for Smash Cops a few months after it became an iOS hit. Senior Artist James Emmins said “We wanted to thank the players that supported us and especially those screaming out for more. We’ll still working on some cool ideas that will come to market in the not to distant future”.

Hutch was formed in June 2011 by 5 ex-SCEE developers and has added some new “Hutchies” to its studio. Jonathan Alpine, design lead on PS3 EyePet and numerous EyeToy titles joined last month as Design Director. “The Hutch mission remains focused on blending high production values with the latest in game structures and play styles” said Jon. “It’s an insanely creative time working on digital and touch devices. There’s so much we can do”.

Hutch will be releasing more updates over the coming months “with over 800,000 installs on iOS we need to share the love and continue making our game appeal to as many players as possible” said Senior Designer Jay McDonald.

Smash Cops update will be available on iOS, Thursday 26th April. To celebrate, it will be offered for free in the App Store over the next couple of days – promotion brought to you by the insanely cool chaps at App-O-Day.
